Who We Are
Different backgrounds. Different experiences. One shared purpose. Puzzle Piece Farm brings together professionals from behavioral healthcare, education, nonprofit leadership, agriculture, and community development who believe that opportunities for meaningful work and continued learning should extend well into adulthood.
We're putting that collective experience to work in a different kind of setting. Through farming, aquaculture, and hands-on learning, we're building opportunities for neurodivergent adults to develop practical skills, take on meaningful responsibilities, and participate in their communities. Because the need doesn't disappear when traditional services end. And neither should the opportunities.
Kabrena Williams, M.S., BCBA, LBA
President & CEO
Kabrena Williams is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 16 years of experience in behavioral healthcare. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals ranging from 18 months to 65 years old across clinical, residential, home, school, and community settings.
Her career has extended beyond direct clinical care into program development, staff training and mentorship, organizational leadership, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She has led clinical teams and programs, developed systems and educational resources, trained professionals at varying stages of their careers, and worked alongside families, educators, healthcare professionals, and community partners to support individuals with diverse and complex needs.
Working across such a wide age range allowed Kabrena to experience a persistent gap firsthand: as individuals enter adulthood, the availability of structured services, continued skill development, and meaningful opportunities to participate in their communities can become increasingly limited. She wanted to help create something that exists beyond the walls and timelines of traditional therapy.
In 2024, Kabrena and Jabari expanded their knowledge of small-scale agriculture through farming education with the University of Florida/IFAS Extension. That experience helped shape Puzzle Piece Farm's approach to work-based learning through agriculture and aquaculture, creating an environment where neurodivergent adults can gain practical experience, explore their interests and abilities, build greater independence, contribute through meaningful work, and develop lasting connections within their communities.
